Conservation Partner Program

Boothbay Region Land Trust (BRLT) is proud to announce Knickerbocker Group, Linekin Bay Resort, and Midnight Oil Company as its 2011 Conservation Partners.

BRLT’s Conservation Partner Program is an opportunity for the land trust to partner with “green-focused” businesses in the Region.

Knickerbocker Group is an active member of the U.S. Green Building Council with several LEED projects in the works.  For residential homes, Knickerbocker currently uses third party verification to demonstrate the increased energy efficiency that results from their sustainable building practices.

Linekin Bay Resort provides low-impact outdoor recreation and provides venues for BRLT environmental education programs.

Midnight Oil is a full service Energy Company dedicated to helping its customers transition from unnecessary dependency on oil and gas to sustainable and renewable sources of energy.  Midnight Oil matches innovative solutions such as Geothermal Heating and Cooling with local design and installation skills.

The BRLT salutes its conservation partners’ work in support of the land trust’s mission to conserve for the public benefit the natural habitat, scenic beauty, and working land of the Boothbay Region.
