BRLT conserves land through partnerships with local landowners, neighboring land trusts, and towns.  BRLT owns much of the land it protects but it also utilizes important conservation tools such as conservation easements to protect land in perpetuity. What will the Boothbay region look like 25, 50 or 100 years hence? BRLT is working hard to ensure the region will still provide wildlife habitat, space for children to play and explore, hiking trails for residents and visitors and access to working waterfront.
